Jordan Brand Revives One Of The Oldest Jordan Samples In History

Air Jordan 1 5 Rare Sample Hits Retailers Weekend 01

If you missed out on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” earlier this summer, Jordan Brand has a unique variation of the classic colorway releasing tomorrow. Known as the Air Jordan 1.5, the pair was an early wear-test sample that Mike wore to test out the specifications of the Air Jordan 2 outsole. Interestingly enough, the Wings logo was changed to feature Nike instead of the Air Jordan callout on the ankle collar while the tongue branding features a different black tag with red font. The universal Chicago colorway remains intact otherwise, so for any sole-swappers out there, this could be a dream come true. What do you think about Jordan Brand bringing one of the rarest models in Jumpman history to retail? Catch more photos after the break and know taht you can check for this pair early on eBay too.
