New Balance has showcased some unique colorway inspirations throughout the past few seasons. First there was the whole Guitar aesthetic as a part of their Connoisseur’s Collection and then more recently the running brand brought back the New Balance 1600 with a random pinball machine inspiration. The first installment utilized all of the vibrant shades one would find in the 80s arcade game craze, but here the look is toned down thanks to a tonal grey suede base while black accents on the heel and laces create a simple yet refined aesthetic. The only vibrant shades that fall upon this release are a royal blue and orange in brief glimpses while the upper rests on a clean white Abzorb cushioned midsole unit. What do you think?
