Before Steph Curry emerged to be a Under Armour’s leading pitchman for basketball, he toiled in the “PE” tier for Nike Basketball athletes since his rookie season. One of his first Player Exclusives was for the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 from the groundbreaking Hyperdunk lineage that debuted in 2008. There’s no denying the similarities between the Under Armour Curry One and the Hyperdunk line, and although there are indeed a number of details that separate the insanely popular UA signature shoe from Nike’s flagship model, it’s clear that the latter has had some influence on basketball sneaker design as a whole. Check out this rare, autographed PE from 2010 on eBay.
