Tubular Continues To Evolve: Presenting The adidas Runner Prime Knit

Adidas Primeknit Tubular Runner Black Snake 01

Tracking the evolution of successful adidas Originals releases is a rather interesting process. Shoes like the adidas ZX Flux have strayed so far from the initial silhouette that it can be, at times, hardly recognizable to its original form. The adidas Tubular is currently undergoing a change of pace thanks to the inclusion of the three stripe’s favorite material at the moment in the adidas Tubular Primeknit. Now the brand is branching out while utilizing the precedent set by the Tubular to introduce the adidas Runner Primeknit. But instead of settling for just a woven construction, adidas took it a step further by placing the Primeknit construction in the context of a snakeskin pattern. What results is an interesting if not efficient use of black and greys throughout while one of the most unique outsoles in the game today finishes things off. Available right now via Sneaker Politics.
