The eBay trolls were at it again and ran up the “What The Doernbecher” bids to a massive total of over $1 million for the 11 pairs. Nike was skeptical of the massive leap in price, so they did their due diligence and relaunched the auctions, which will likely be closely monitored and be alerted by unusual bids. You still have a shot to cop one of the eleven pairs for a reasonable price, but you’ll have to be a pre-approved bidder to get in on the action that will eventually go to benefit the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
