The adidas LA Trainer was initially created to coincide with the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Much like the adidas SL Loop, the three stripes is rejuvenating the model with a modern day take on the silhouette now named the adidas Los Angeles. The shoe ditches the traditional suede build up its 80s predecessor for a full mesh upper while maintaining the sleek design and rigid outsole. The midsole showcases remnants of the original as well (gone are the unique three trefoil logos on the heel though for a more simplistic aesthetic).
