Of Nike’s retro training series, the Air Trainer 3 has arguably had the most fun under the guise of being a lifestyle sneaker. Black/Gum toolings, a random “Toro” pair, and the return of the classic Medicine Ball aesthetic have all bolstered the shoe’s reputation currently, and now the shoe returns with an interesting color blocking more prone to Asics retro runners than this silhouette. Featuring a premium tooling of canvas on the toebox in an enticing powder blue, the forefoot and heel sees a contrasting grey atop a tumbled leather construction while that chunky midsole returns with a marbled pattern. Are you a fan of Nike adopting the contrasted toe trent? Check out more photos below and we’ll update you on a release date in the coming days.
