World renowned BAPE is back with a brand new collaboration alongside UNDFTD to help celebrate the adidas Consortium Superstar. There’s no denying how big a year the Superstar has already had, given that the three stripes has dusted off the classic shell-toe and brought it back with a vengeance as its featured retro of choice. A 45 year anniversary isn’t a customarily celebratory extravaganza, but adidas has thought otherwise by rolling out this sneaker in a number of enticing collaborations, and these two brand new pairs might be at the top of that list. As for Bape and Undefeated, they’ve been comfortable working together for quite some time, and have even paired up atop an adidas silhouette in the past with the ZX 500. Here we see A Bathing Ape’s signature camouflage print sublimated to the heel, lining and tongue. There’s no entire camo’d out pair this time around, as these two Superstars instead opt for a premium leather construction while a luxurious gold plated UNDFTD x BAPE branding matches the unique heel logos. The BAPE x UNDFTD x adidas Consortium Superstar 80s will arrive at select retailers on April 11th for $130.
