Back in the 80s, World of Troop sneakers were considered those reserved for the trend setters. Before big brands like Nike and adidas rolled out lifestyle creations of their own featuring the likes of high-end inspired synthetic snakeskin and a tendency for luxurious leather tooling, Troop filled that void in streetwear culture pre-90s and they had one of the biggest names backing them – LL Cool J. Planned to be brought back this April, the Troop Lamb Low will return in a classic red and white featuring the padded leather aesthetic with white speckling throughout in a true homage to its original form. The Troop Pro Edition Mid features an elephant print eerily familiar from another late-80s creation while a metallic gold arrives on the unique crown branding found on the side panel. Black leather arrives on the ankle collar and heel to match the outsole. What do you think of the brand’s unexpected return? Check out more photos after the break and stay tuned for an official release date and pricing info in the near future.
