This upcoming Under Armour Curry One release, coming at your on April 3rd, is inspired by the “underdog” spirit that drove Steph to success today. But the truth is, Curry nor Under Armour carry those labels anymore; Steph is a bonafide MVP candidate and many experts have the sharpshooter as the winner of that coveted hardware, while Under Armour’s name is definitely in the game and doing what they can to compete with the giant that is Nike. This special colorway, which loosely draws inspiration from Curry’s alma mater of Davidson, represents the tough climb to stardom that he earned every step of the way; not many colleges gave him a square chance, and even his status as the son of a former NBA player didn’t garner him any advantages. But his rise to stardom is legit and it’s a big reason why he’s such a fan favorite in the NBA – and why the Curry One has seen success since its launch last month.
