Japan’s HYKE Teams Up With adidas Originals

adidas Originals has featured the adidas Stan Smith and adidas Superstar throughout the past two years rather prominently. The Stan Smith‘s bring-back was one of the top stories dealing with adidas last year, and in 2015 the brand is hoping that people respond in a similar way to the classic shell toe. Their latest collaborative effort sees the three stripes team up with Japanese label HYKE for two new takes on each. The Superstars opt for a classic black/white or white/black colorway featuring a synthetic snakeskin base while an off white outsole. The two Stan Smith pairs vary a bit more, as an all white leather is available or an all snakeskin look featuring a realistic array of brown and black while an off white outsole contrasts. No word yet on if or when each of these pairs are arriving stateside, but they’re available from select retailers overseas today.
