Nike officially introduces the Nike Hyperchase, tailor made for playmaking footwork from the NBA’s elite like James Harden. Utilizing the Rockets’ MVP candidate as a muse, designer Tony Hardman, who designed the Run The One, looked to the modernism of fighter jets for the sleek design as an asymmetrical lacing system is supported by dynamic flywire for the ultimate ride. Other details include a dual-layered mesh construction and a low-profile Phylon midsole for lockdown stability. But with all of the Harden-inspiration, is this a stepping stone for an eventual James Harden signature shoe? He’s a certified star of the league and would make a great addition to Nike’s new generation of signature athletes to carry Nike Basketball for another decade. The Hyperchase will be available at select spots on February 12th and be on the lookout for this pair to debut during James Harden’s All-Star appearance at Madison Square Garden.
