More tonal trainers are on the horizon. Recently, we’ve seen Nike’s classic training series take on lifestyle aesthetics as one of the retros of choice early on in the new year. You can chalk up another pair to that list with the introduction of this “University Red” Nike Air Trainer 3. This aesthetic will definitely bring back memories of the Toro madness that arrived on basically every Nike retro silhouette a few years back, as University Red takes up most of the upper while black accents arrive on the midsole, Swoosh and laces. A curious case of light blue finds its way onto the Air Max unit, heel branding, and the upper eyelets to deviate from a full on Chicago reference.
