adidas Originals is kicking off 2015 with The Superstar Experience. After debuting a new ad campaign with the help of Pharrell, David Beckham, and Rita Ora, the three stripes are launching a brand new exhibit at their 138 Wooster event space in New York City to display the history of the famed shell-toe in the adidas Superstar. Inspired by the storied past of the lifestyle sneaker, the exhibit opens with the origin of the shoe in the context of New York City basketball all the way up to present day, where the Superstar 80s is regarded as one of the most ubiquitous lifestyle sneakers in history. In attendance will be a first look at the redesigned Superstar for 2015, as well as the upcoming adidas Originals NYC Rivalry Superstar collection and a Pharrell helmed collaboration. The exhibit will be open this Friday, January 16th to Sunday, February 15th.
