Nike celebrates the first ever College Football Playoffs, with their most innovative football cleat ever. “It’s the fastest, most advanced cleat we’ver ever had”, according to Nike Football Cleated Design Director Ken Link. The Vapor Untouchable Cleat will launch in a special silver “championship diamond ring” inspired colorway along with a number of team makeups. The Vapor Untouchable also debuts a new Flyknit material, constructed with recycled polyester yarn, with each pair being knitted with the equivalent of five recycled plastic bottles. As for the technology packed within the cleat, the Flywire works with Flywire, and a Nike Skin overlay on the upper, paired with Nike’s carbon V-Plate underfoot to provide lockdown yet flexible support and stability on the field. The Nike Vapor Untouchable Cleat “Championship Diamond Ring” colorway is available now on Nike.com, with special coinciding editions of the Zoom Field General and all-new Bo Jackson Trainer coming soon.
