Today, Jordan Brand has some bright news for the smaller-footed femme fatales of the sneaker game: Sizing for kids sizes will now expand up to a women’s 11. This extension reaches five half-sizes above the 7Y that is currently the maximum, but there’s a scientific reason as to why this change is made. According to recent studies by the National Institutes of Health, girls reach their peak shoe size at age 12, and some found themselves unable to fit into standard GS sizes. Along with this update, Jordan Brand also unveils their Spring 2015 collection of Jordans just for girls; the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 10, and Air Jordan Future are all expected to arrive beginning this January, so check out the official lookbook below and stay tuned for a detailed look at these Retro releases soon.
