A Detailed Look at the Nike Air Max 1 Deluxe “Safari”

Iridescent Safari Print? It sounds like something usually reserved for the WMNS side of things, but Nike found a way to make the aesthetic work for a Deluxe take atop the classic Nike Air Max 1. Seeing the shoe return to the non-lunarlon form straight from 1987 is rather surprising here considering the mutation of the upper in the shiny Tinker Hatfield-helmed print is something that would normally warrant the updated outsole, but the contrast manages to worth rather well. The black leather base gets a vibrant Photo Blue accent for some diversity.
