The Los Angeles Lakers have had so much success in the free agent market and the NBA Draft throughout their storied history which is why it’s so strange to see them struggling so mightily right now. Two of the beneficiaries of the Lakers front office were Kobe Bryant (drafted by Charlotte and then traded immediately to the Lakeshow) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was traded over from the Milwaukee Bucks. Today we get to see one of Kobe’s original silhouettes in the adidas Crazy 8 don a brand new colorway in an homage to Kareem. This ‘Blueprint’ esque pair cleverly dresses the upper in a neutral grey while a blue contrast stitching highlights the numerous curves on the Crazy 8. Throw in a gum sole, 33 PE stitching, and cross hatching on the midsole, and this is one of the more original takes on the adidas Crazy 8 retro yet. Check out more photos after the click and grab a pair today at Oneness.
