Urban Outfitters x New Balance 496

The presence of slanted-N logos on store shelves is greater than it has ever been. The trend of retro runners is largely in part due to New Balance’s incredibly rich history, and the 496 here is just another great model that is getting the necessary platform to be reintroduced to loyalist and newfound fans. We recently saw this model get the collaboration treatment at the hands of Concepts, and this latest project includes a retailer on a much larger scale – Urban Outfitters. They’ve got two colorways to work with – one anchored by stoic olive and another with light grey tones – and neither disappoint. These New Balance 496 collabs should show up in stores soon, so stay tuned for a release update.
