Earlier this morning we got a preview of the Nike Air Max “Escape 3” Pack, a return to form from a similar mid-2000s collection that put everyone’s favorite Nike Air Huarache, Trainer Huarache, and Air Max 90 together for a look that mirrored that of an ACG-like aesthetic. And since the ACG resurgence is a noteworthy topic these days considering that nearly every retro running sneaker in Nike’s catalogue has been hit with a colorway indigenous to that line, here we see the motif continue. This time around, Nike focusses on their three flagship Air Max models in the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 95, but perhaps the standout of all three is the first model. With an array of premium brown leather panels atop a Light Bone base, faint red hints litter throughout for an added pop. What do you think of this Nike Air Max 1?
