We’ve yet to see Kevin Durant in a Nike KD 7 on-court yet given that he’s sat out the entirety of the regular season so far due to injury, but Nike’s already got the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs with this perforated wear-test sample. The shoe is being billed as the “Elite” form of the KD 7, but we can’t be entirely sure given the usual transformation a signature sneaker goes through under the Swoosh’s scrutinizing development process. The silhouette does maintain the ridges and aesthetic of KD’s seventh shoe though, and the Swoosh, while not that noticable continues to be placed on the forefoot here. The only real noticable difference besides that enticing all-black-everything colorway are the gaping perforations with a red accent throughout. What do you think of this sample? Check out more images after the click and stay tuned for more of KD’s latest in the near future.
