A week and a half ago when Pharrell Williams was captured sitting in a circular rainbow of adidas Superstar 80s, it brought to light the fact that the brand still has a few tricks up their sleeve when it comes to their new partnerships. The classic shell toe silhouette, which has been highly under utilized in many of their budding ventures thus far, seems to be a focal point moving forward. As it should be. But what about the Campus 80s? Why aren’t they a fixture in adidas’ new lateral moves? Although it remains to be seen if they will be, premium renditions of the shoe certainly continue to inflict their will this fall. The latest pair comes in a plush monochrome scheme highlighting a deep grey suede throughout.
