Drake isn’t afraid of flexing or the normal internet hatred that comes with it, which is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s more than happy to showcase brand new Air Jordan 3 PEs – and we’re talking multiple pairs here – while the rest of us have to deal with the information that Jordan Brand is putting the Elephant-printed favorite in the vaults for the foreseeable future. The Drake vs Lil Wayne PEs may have underwhelmed a bit, but a pair that definitely turned heads the mysterious Air Jordan III he donned in fellow YMCB affiliate Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda video. The interesting color blocking was something we haven’t seen before, and with rumors of fractal elephant print being featured throughout the upper, there was a shimmering of hope that JB was experimenting with a new colorway for the masses. But with the good news of a better look, we find out that the pattern is actually just a clever nod at the Anaconda theme as a faux-snakeskin covers the upper in grey and black.
