Kobe Bryant’s 2006 NBA All-Star Game in Houston, Texas won’t go down as his all time best game – he scored 8 points in 26 minutes as the West squad’s game plan revolved around getting Tray McGrady the ball. He did wear a memorable PE though, as his first signature with Nike was outfitted with a white and blue aesthetic (the medial side featuring a patent leather). Apparently, that wasn’t the original plan though, as this Nike Zoom Kobe 1 sample features a throwback Houston flare of red and yellow in reference to the Rockets’ original color scheme. Check out more of this Houston-themed Kobe 1 sample after the break and pick up this rare find from sneaker_power on eBay.
