Five years after the fact, Sneaker Freaker have come up with a sequel to their Asics Gel Lyte III “Alvin Purple”. Meet the Asics Gel Kayano “Melvin”, or “Son of Alvin”. The project marks the first time that this shoe will be available in collab form from any shop other than Packer Shoes, who started out the year with a couple quick, New Jersey themed versions of the shoe. There’s an asymmetrical color scheme along with a particularly interesting 3M section along the medial side that’s got some glitter sprinkled in.
