The Converse Weapon has been an iconic basketball sneaker since the likes of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson helped bring the shoe to prominence during the NBA’s golden age, and yet the model has only seen a few carefully placed retros over the past year. It looks like Fall 2014 wil be a big time for the silhouette, as the American brand will bring back the ’86 variety in a number of neon colorways fit for the decade’s need to be bold and brash. Expect a number of premium leather bases to coincide with that singnature blown-up Converse word mark on the tongue.
