The cultural giant known as Jordan Brand all started with one man – Michael Jordan. As we all know, Nike began a signature line of footwear for the Chicago Bulls star, and after eleven groundbreaking models, the entire wing devoted to the basketball star became its own wholly-owned subsidiary called Jordan Brand. It immediately spread its reach to a number of other dominant athletes in other sports – Derek Jeter (baseball), Randy Moss (football), and Roy Jones Jr. (boxing). Since then, Jordan Brand has evolved into an empire, covering an incredibly wide range of sports while maintaining its hold as the driving force of the sneaker culture.
