We’re currently in a resurgence of classic tennis shoes, and we’re not talking the broad term your grandparents use when you show off a recent retro, but actual shoes that hit courts for tennis matches. While adidas is busy riding the Stan Smith wave for the warmer months in a number of classic schemes, the folks over at New Balance are prepping for Wimbledon with their classic New Balance CT300, a sneaker originally released in 1979 and poised to make a comeback later this Summer. The silhouette utilizes a mesh toebox with suede side panles and will come equipped with what looks like a pre-aged midsole in two simple colorways ranging from a white and subtle grey to a navy iteration. The tongue sports a large branded tag that even boasts the UK flag. What do you think? Stick around after the click for a better view.
