In celebration of the spectacular Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM release in Milan, the Swoosh commissioned an awe-inspiring display created by Arthur Huang.  This Flyknit Aero-Static Dome is on display in Milan’s Palazzo Clerici, with the Kobe 9 Elite Low shown in 9 illuminated glass cases, each of which connects to the hovering dome by way of colorful Flyknit strands.  This installation inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s triangular parachute and Alexander Graham Bell’s tetrahedral kite is completely free-floating and secured to the ground by the same material that makes up the Kobe 9 Elite‘s featherweight upper.  Click in for a closer view and let us know if this piece commissioned for Milan Fashion Week 2014 is Nike’s best yet.
