Nike Solarsoft Mule “Fair Isle” Sample

Here’s a whimsical idea for a sneaker: take a model that by its very nature is a warm weather shoe and combine it with the coziness conferred by a fair isle sweater.  There’s a reason ideas go through the sample process before arriving at retail, and this Nike Solarsoft Mule pictured above might be one example.  On one hand, the mix of summery shoe and wintery pattern is at the very least an interesting combination, but on the other hand, how many people do you see wearing sweaters at the beach?  It’s a very specific audience.  So perhaps these were better left undone, but if you’re feeling them, there’s a sample available now from stv1175 on eBay.
