After the first few years of Nike Training shoes were usually issued in both high/mid and lowtop cuts, the 1990s focused almost exclusively on mids. The popularity of the Air Trainer Classic suggests there’s more room for lowtop retro trainers, and it seems like that’s what Nike Sportswear at least had planned with the pair pictured above.
