Vans had a good thing going with the Switchback boot, so hopefully that one gets back into the rotation as we head back into the fall later this year. But aside from those, there haven’t been all that many waterproof Off the Wall shoes. Luckily, Vans Vault has stepped in and changed all that, and the first Vansguard release will show off the protective powers on a trio of new Vans Old Skool LXes. Kelp, red and True Blue colorways all have monotone uppers, white soles and brown on the tongues and foxing bands, with a hint of plaid on the tongue’s piping.
