Chuck Taylors have a longer history than almost any shoe in the game, and it looks like Converse is going to let us enjoy a little bit more of that history. With this First String collection, Converse presents us with two chucks that are designed using specifications from the 1970s. Both the low top cyan pair and the high top purple pair feature added cushioning, a larger toebox, and are made with a higher grade of canvas. As of now, these are expected to release in early February, but stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest on these and other shoes.
