Any time a Nike Air Max 90 release mixes white, tonal greys, black and a bright red, it is going to draw comparisons to that iconic 1990 original colorway called ‘Infrared’. This one is an especially good example, with tons of overlap between the OG Infrared blocking and the way this new Air Max 90 Essential has been laid out. The key differences would be red inside the Air bubble instead of its sweeping frame, white on the ‘AIRMAX’ badge right above that, and red on both plastic eyestay elements instead of just the bottom.
