Over the span of about five days back in August/September, Sneaker News showed you a couple of packs from Nike Sportswear that used a unique textile material on the uppers that has been likened to window coverings. Along with the ‘Curtains’ pack in black and gold, a ‘Purple Dynasty’ set, including the Nike WMNS Air Max 1 was said to be on track for a December release. And indeed, we see this AM1 appearing at just the right time, its upper taking on the look of an industrial textile a la occasional NSW collaborator Maharam.
