This Saturday, the Nike CJ81 Trainer Max releases in its ‘Motor City’ rollout, an elegant tribute to Detroit and its automotive heritage.  Something even more Ford-like, in the sense that Calvin Johnson himself has actually worn a cleat in this particular palette this season, is this blue and silver take on the Megatron signature shoe.  The shade of blue on these has Lions fans happy considering they’re a much better match for the team’s uniforms than the royal/black makeup, but it might all be for not if these turn out to be a scrapped sample as rumored.  Stick with Sneaker News for the latest and let us know where these would rank among CJ81 Trainer Max colorways were they to release.
