Sneaker News just showed you how Nike is revisiting the original Free 5.0 runner in a casual form to celebrate a decade of barefoot running. The series that started it all keeps on going in 2014 with the latest iteration of the Nike Free 5.0 moving forward with a revised take on the Dynamic Flywire build from this current generation. The new 5.0 Frees use a knit sandwich mesh for superior ventilation, no-sew overlays to keep it light and a revamped sole pattern that’s more like a honeycomb than the traditional quadrilateral units. Between these and the Hyperfeels, we’re experiencing a renaissance of Free innovation, and you can see more of these below while we wait for the first releases next year.
