Yohji Yamamoto nailed his Y-3 reinterpretation on Three Stripes’ classic LA Trainer, applying an floral print to the underlay that reflects the label’s premium lean with its intricate graphics.  That release debuted the name adidas Y-3 Tokyo Trainer, a confusing moniker considering the silhouette is indeed the LA but the name Tokio is traditionally connected with a much older adidas shoe.  Call it what you will, the Y-3 Tokio Trainer looks dope in grey, black and white with neon pink and green accents, and you’ll find them available at top-tier retailers like Kith.
