Red October Air Yeezy 2 On-Feet Images

The feet of Kanye West himself have always been, understandably so, the first place to look to find out what’s coming next from the line. The latest example of that is the red Nike Air Yeezy 2. The sneaker had been floating around in sample form for a while, but it wasn’t until they showed up on the feet of the Louis Vuitton Don himself during that Saturday Night Live performance that the anticipation hit a fever pitch. It appears that, going forward, the shoes will sort of be his on-stage go to as far as footwear goes, and this past weekend he brought them out again, hitting the main stage at the Governors Ball festival in NYC on Sunday night.

It was that appearance that finally gives us a detailed look at the red Yeezy 2; as you can see, the mini Swoosh on the back end of the sneaker has a sort of chiseled effect going on, one that’s reminiscent of the diamond inspired one frequently grabbed at by the Nike LeBron X. Also interesting is the apparent lack of a glow-the lighting, which suggests that there’s a solid-colored outsole without any such “glow” effect going on.
