Sneakers specific tuned for outdoor play are sort of a dying breed at the moment, with not too many of the XDR joints and the like making huge noise here in the US at the moment. The category perhaps reached its peak back in the 90s, when companies were eager to cater to players who didn’t have access to real deal hardwood, a goal that also allowed them to inject some more “street” imagery into the associated campaigns.
