Supra continues to use surnames to tag its latest releases, but unlike the few that immediately preceded it, this one doesn’t have even an indirect tie-in with sports or pop culture. The Supra Society ‘Garrett’ probably isn’t a tribute to the house mom from Facts of Life or the brother from Everybody Loves Raymond (could it possibly be a subtle nod to Dallas Cowboys coach Jason’s ginger locks?), but with a fluorescent orange liner peeking out from all angles around the charcoal Satin TUF upper, it is most definitely a style that deserves to be re-run.
