Nike Free changed the game when it first debuted in 2004, but even nearly a decade later, the Nike engineering crew things it can get freer and more flexible as it adapts new technology and materials on its footwear. The Fall 2013 sample hints at what could be next for Free – or should we say “Flex”? Take a look at the Nike Exo-Flex sample which features a familiar anatomy as Nike Free; the side profile suggests the basic grooves that we’ve seen on Nike Free footwear, but a look at the outsole reveals additional flexion grooves that promotes lateral movement as it does forward and back. The upper is comprised of a one-piece skin with visible Flywire cables embedded onto the upper, with a FB-inspired forefoot Swoosh giving these a nice sporty look. We can’t, however, ignore the fact that “Exo-Flex” sounds like a Reebok shoe, does it not? We’ve got a gallery of this Fall 2013 sample below so take a look and place your bids in on this size 10 unit from dballaholic on eBay.
