Today, adidas Basketball held a media event to unveil the all-new adidas CrazyQuick Basketball – an innovative approach to boosting speed and quickness on the hardwood floor. The entire CrazyQuick performance line, which includes football and running, was designed based on athletes’ insights, and as the newly signed adidas Basketball athlete John Wall stated, “Quick is what separates me from other players in the league.” Designed by adidas Advanced Footwear Category Designer Robbie Fuller, the CrazyQuick Basketball focuses on speed and quicking as it features four “quick zones” on the centipede-inspired outsole that work in conjunction with the upper to create maximum flexibility and directional control, with 17 unique diverging pods playing a specific role in enhancing quickness.
In addition, the CrazyQuick endured the most extensive research and testing of any adidas Basketball shoe, with over 1,000 discrete basketball motions tested during the process; adidas is recognized for its intense wear-test process, with this one in particular involving NBA and NCAA players rom Cincinnati, Baylor, Louisville, Wisconsin, and UCLA. The adidas CrazyQuick Basketball will launch on May 1st at adidas retailers at an $140 MSRP so continue on a for a first look and stay tuned for more from the adidas CrazyQuick Basketball media launch event.
