Nike has released several green and white Air Force 1s over the years, perhaps most notably, the 2006 and ’07 editions released around the AF1’s 25th anniversary.  Coming off the XXXth birthday year, one might argue that the best is yet to come, as this new ‘Irish Varsity’ Nike Air Force 1 Low is not only a superb exemplar of its Emerald Isle theme, but also much deeper than just a calendar tie-in thanks to the unique blend of leather, nubuck, nylon and a chenille Swoosh.  A reminder of how good 2010’s ‘5 Boroughs’ releases were and how many more expressions of both the classic varsity style and AF1 silhouette are out there for the taking, Sneaker News will keep you posted on this pair’s release date.
