Swizz Beatz Previews Upcoming Reebok Retros 1

Swizz Beatz has made a huge impact on Reebok in a short time, and just like any great producer, he’s just taking what an act has to offer and maximizing its strong points.  Swizzy’s bringing back what he calls his ‘Starting Lineup’ (and no, we’re not talking about DMX, the Lox and Eve featuring Drag-On), a set of mid-’90s signatures that mark one of the Vector brand’s high water marks when they captured a fresh new energy on the NBA hardwood, and then some.  Before showing off a few pairs at last night’s American Music Awards, Swizz previewed a couple of Shaq signatures, the original rookie year Reebok Shaq Attaq and another reason why some still consider 1995-96 the greatest release slate ever: the mesmerizing Shaqnosis.  Shawn Kemp’s Kamikaze II is also coming back, but is at least in terms of 2s outmatched by record-breaking RB Emmit Smith’s ES22 turf trainers.  Let us know which of these well-aged classics most excites you and stick with Sneaker News for their release dates.
