While some purists have argued that Nike Running’s Air Max flagship series hasn’t hit the same heights since its first decade (of which four models serve as cornerstones in the Nike Sportswear catalog). And even if Air Maxes 1, 90, 95 and 97 are the cream of the crop (it’s true; all bonafide classics), what no one in their right mind can say, is that the Swoosh’s running division isn’t still coming up with legendary designs. Lunar and more recently Flyknit designs continue to raise the bar in terms of both style and performance, and even with tons of Olympic exposure, arguably none of those has had the impact of the model pictured above. The Nike Free Run+ 2‘s everyman appeal has given them life well beyond the typical product cycle even as the sequel arrives in new colorways, and today we have three new Woven Free Run 2 styles with leather overlays from NSW that you can see up-close below before buying at Tier Zero stores like Extra Butter.
