This Friday, Maryland will take on the University of Kentucky in a season-opening showdown at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Maryland, an Under Armour outfitted school, will debut its 2012-13 campaign in an incredible Retro-inspired collection of on-court footwear and apparel that Sneaker News previewed in the Under Armour Fall 2012 Basketball Showcase; the throwback heather grey and red design is inspired by the underdog Brooklyn Dodgers and their underdog fight against the New York baseball Giants of that era. The Under Armour Charge and Spine will be in the main spotlight as both versions will be available at Under Armour retailers beginning this Friday, while the Torch and Torch Low are special versions exclusive to the Maryland players. A gallery of all four models composed in this incredible colorway is just below so take a look and cop your pair this Friday.
