Green Day x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “¡Dos!”

Green Day X Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Dos 1

Even for a band who, dare we say it, might be something like a modern-day version of The Clash, a triple-album is a tremendous undertaking.  So rather than seeking to create their own London Calling, punk-pop kings Green Day split up their latest project into three individual releases that provides drummer Tré Cool with a unique opportunity while the whole band garners additional media attention.  And there will be even more awareness of the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! triumvirate with new Green Day x Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars following in the footsteps of the pair modeled after Billie Joe’s first album cover.  This one takes its look from the LP cover of which bassist Mike Dirnt is the focus (he’s on the inner tongue this time), keeping the pink ‘X’ detailing and spiral design we saw on the first green pair, but opting instead for an earthier, rusty palette.  These drop at Journeys November 15th and mark the start of a contest that runs through January 30th giving fans a chance to win Green Day concert tickets.  Let us know how the rhythm section compares to the lead in this pack so far and stick with Sneaker News for release info on the third pair of Green Day Chucks.
