adidas Originals AO Hook Shot

adidas Originals recently resurrected the Greenstar lowtop worn by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but what about his signature named after that unblockable flick of the wrist?  Three Stripes devotees will be saddened that the original Sky Hook isn’t returning, but just like the Nike Blazer (and several other similarly simple hightops including adi’s own Nizza), it turns out this classic basketballer works quite well in conjunction with a zipper entry.  And you can call this zipped-up Lew Alcindor look the adidas Originals AO Hook shot, a style debuting in seasonally-appropriate Dark Forest and Dark Rust suedes.  Both reveal more details in additional photos below, and you’ll find them available shortly at select Three Stripes retailers.
