Stash x Reebok Classic – Teaser

Stash x Reebok Classic – Teaser

Stash Reebok Packer

The idea of a partnership between a major footwear brand and a collection of trend-setting retailers and artists isn’t a new concept, but it’s one still in use today by a wide variety of labels such as Reebok, New Balance, Asics, and more. Reebok’s been one of the bigger players in the ‘collaboration’ game this year, showing no reservations with its massive fifteen-pronged Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary Collection and its out-sourced designs of the Question, etc., and we’re sure to expect the same for 2013 as we get a look at a Reebok Classic designed by Josh ‘Stash’ Franklin – a true pioneer of the sneaker game.

What we see here is Stash’s signature grey/blue colorway (seen in his first Reebok collaboration with the Graphlite Pumps, done in conjunction with Packer Shoes) and a unique graphic pattern on the upper quarter that appears to be of a 3-D effect. A second pair of Classics in the background could either point to a second Stash design, or perhaps a design by another artist/store that may allude to a similar  collaborative capsule release like the Workouts. More below, so take a look and stay tuned for more updates.
